About Tim:

Tim is a registered healthcare professional and former Combat Medic in the Army Reserve who is passionate about developing new medical technologies to help solve problems faced by patients, clinicians, and other care providers.

Prior to joining Medtrade Tim worked as a Remote Area Medic delivering medical care in over 15 countries around the globe, ranging from the Himalayas, jungles of South America, Wildlife plains in East Africa and war zones in the Middle East. The highlight of Tim’s time as a remote area medica was working with Sir David Attenborough and the BBC Natural History Unit. 

In his spare time Tim is an enthusiastic (but slow) amateur triathlete who competes in Ironman and other endurance events.

About Dawn:

Ex-Army Combat Medic, now paramedic and Senior lecturer/assistant professor at Bradford university. An interest in paediatrics and trauma, I am part of the college of paramedics working group to standardise delivery of paediatrics in university, teaching on several paediatric advanced life support courses and part of the paediatric trauma resuscitation course (PTRC) faculty who deliver training across the world.

Talk Synopsis

An interactive talk on the assessment and management of paediatric trauma patients, using the standard CABCDE approach all informed from and targeted towards the latest TARN data regarding common injuries in children.
